oh my god. realise my goods are stacking on cupboard and i have not done anyting new to it. been scratchin my head and haben got a good suggestion wad to do.. i am stil tryin very hard to come up with new idea of what new products tt i can bring in. tot of bringing sunglasses. seen some really cool ones tru some distributors overseas..bt e problem is selling sunglass here like many wld tink, cannot try on so very hard to gauge if they suits u. mayb u guys can tell me whether u r keen on checking out new sunglaSses here.. at a price say $25-$30? just a little survey.
for the time being maybe i should blog on something else instead. HAD BeEn ROTTING at hm for the past 3weeks alrdy. not doing much and tinking back wonder hw come time passes so fast. You knw. its like waiting so long to serve my one month notice and then e next thing i realise is my $$ saving in mybank account is really draining.
Jus in a day on 1/10/07 i spent like:
$358.00 on facial chemical peel of 3treatments.
$120 on a carlo rino bag
$10 for biore sun block
$$ for the fruits and miscellaneous stuff tt i bought.
Nw u knw y i am so broke.Anyway i has been searching and looking out for chemical peeling information. i came across the forum-er tt she gt a fantastic result after 10 peels 5 or 6 yrs ago.. at a price of $75 each peel at her time at raffles hospital with dr Yeak. then she recommended her to many other forum-ers..
reading so much comment, i end up only hoping that the effect will not be too extreme to cause my face to swell and bruise. i went ahead for the appointment at 1030 1/10/07 only to realise tt e lady whom i called e other day to make appt, make a mistake of my appt. she put me into 4/10 instead. after some negotiation, the staff is willing to put me into a time slot in e noon if i am willing to wait. (anyway her clinic only opens in e noon tt day.). Thou i was kinda pissed off for the fact tt its my first experience doing a treatment at raffles hospi with my own hard earn savings..i am not treated well with a simple thing like making a wrong appointment. But never the less, i cant deny tt i wasnt as bad as i tot at first.
in e noon i came back for the appt with my mum. the clinic is really good. the ambience..the lighting..e smell, the professional look.. i m convinced tt all this experience is worth my $ after all. but just to add on, i had a little disappointment with my dr..she didnt comment much abt my condition neither did she give any advice..nt even when i ask" so hw many times do u tink i shld do before i can see any results?"
u knw what she replied? she says"i am not sure hw ur skin will react to the peel so i cant tell hw many times u need. Its up to u.." so it ended there "...Up to u" ha. den y do i nid a consultation man.. their consultation fee with a GP is $30 but luckily i do not have to pay bcos i took their package. but then again its a gd and bad point. they stress tt they are hospitals. they do not push products like what some salons are doing..
e peel at the room is fantastic.lik what the rest has commented. its lik goin to a facial. The nurse cleanses your face while u lie down..den do everyting den wait for dr come in to apply the chemical liquid. the lowest acidity they use is 20% folowed by 35%, 50%, 75%.. she skip 20% and straight apply 35%. she say my face no reaction, no reddness so she say can put 50%..lol but 50% seems lik no reaction too. She say she's tempted to put 75% bt she cant cuz she's afraid there might be burns..
so it was left on for lik less than 5 min i tink. i dono exactly. den she wash it off..put on a cold towel. my mum says only a bit of red on my cheek, no obvious change.
i came hm a few days le. nthg peelin lei. disappointed. Dr yeak stil says i m responding well.lol~ i tink my skin too thick, tts y. but theres a few little pimples poppin out. not sure if its good or bad. just hope tt they do not leave any scarring~bt dr did tell me pimple will b put cux the chemical actually forces the dirts tt clog in e pores out.. ha..
for any one who is stil curious abt what chemical peelin is all abt, this is what i read from wikipedia..:
A chemical peel is a body treatment technique used to improve and smooth the texture of the facial skin using a chemical solution that causes the skin to blister and eventually peel off. The regenerated skin is usually smoother and less wrinkled than the old skin. Thus the term chemical peel is derived. Some types of chemical peels can be purchased and administered without a medical license, however people are advised to seek professional help from a plastic surgeon or dermatologist on a specific type of chemical peel before a procedure is performed.
Alpha hydroxy acid peels( AHA)
AHA are naturally occuring organic carboxylic acids such as glycolic acid (e one tt i use), a natural constituent of sugar came juice and lactic acid, found in sour milk and tomato juice. The is the mildest of the peel formulas and produces light peels for treatment of fine wrinkles, areas of dryness, uneven pigmentation and acne (e reason y i m there).
AHA can also b found in some facial wash and cream in lesser concentration as a daily skin care regimen to improve skin texture.
AHA peels are used to:
reduce fine wrinkling
treat areas of dryness
reduce uneven pigmentation
aid in the control of acne
smooth rough dry skin
improve the texture of sun-damaged skin
AHA peels may:
cause stinging
cause skin redness
cause mild skin irritation
cause dryness
take multiple treatments for desired results
IN SHORT CONCLUSION:
chemical peel is to remove top layer of skin, for ur skin to renew, grow new ones..
i m warned by many to avoid oily fried stuff..sweet stuff and snacks crackers..but i cant resist e sight of pringle sitting infront of me untouched. omg i tink i can finish them off b4 i slp..
tml will be off meeting vin liying fiona. chatted with a old fren(kiankai). mayb he might b joining us too..omg. i tink tml will b hard to host outing~~
